Servpac Named One of Hawaii's Best Workplaces for Fifth Year
on Apr 11
Hawaii Business recognized Servpac as one of Hawaii’s Best Small Workplaces in 2019, an honor that recognizes the company for going beyond the norm to create an enjoyable, innovative, and rewarding work environment for its employees. The Best Companies Group determined the ranking through an online questionnaire where employees scored Servpac highly across six core areas of engagement including communication and resources, individual needs, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, team dynamics, and trust in leadership. This is the fifth consecutive year Hawaii Business recognized Servpac with other small businesses across Hawaii for going above and beyond for their employees.
“Our biggest asset are our people, and they're the main reason for a fun and rewarding company culture that makes Servpac a great place to work,” explains President Richard Zheng. “The growth and success of Servpac heavily relies on feedback and open communication between employees, and our leadership team realizes the importance of listening and making improvements where needed. We’re always striving to create an environment where employees are growing with the company and develop new skills and processes that contribute to the company's success.”
Besides providing a team-focused environment, Servpac offers weekly training seminars with lunch provided, team pau hanas, stocked fridge with breakfast treats and drinks, Fitbit challenges for all employees, and Amazon gift cards for work anniversaries. The company also offers employees opportunities to take part in community events such as team races and golf tournaments.
